“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
While it is true that we are in a unique season of trial, it is also true that our God is greater than all, and is actively working for our good in all things. Yes, the church will look a little different. But isn’t it good news that the church is not a building, or a specific time during the week, but the people of God?! That means the church can, and will always move on, no matter what is happening in and around us.
This page outlines how we as a church will continue to be the church during the COVID-19 crisis. As you invite people to be a part of Austin Life with you, send them here. Check back in for ongoing updates, and to stay connected with one another.

Meeting Needs Within ALC and for the city
It’s no doubt this season of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is hitting our cities, our nation, and our world in a hard way. While public places continue to close down for this season and more gatherings are being banned in order to proactively prevent further spreading, we as the church want to continue to tangibly express the Gospel and life in Jesus to a hurting world.
We know that this season is unique and challenging for you as well. Each one of us are impacted in varying ways. If you are able, would you consider giving above and beyond your normal giving to help raise funds for our benevolence budget? Our benevolence budget is money set aside to help those in need. Biblically, we see this happening in Acts 2 and 4, and then in some of Paul’s letters as well. We believe God has called us to be generous as He is generous, and to give to others out of what He has given us so that the needs of those within Austin Life, the city, and the world can be met.
For us, we will assess situations of benevolence within Austin Life as they arise and are brought to our attention. We have committed to giving to Angel House who are helping feed the hungry, and to Austin Angels who are helping children and families with meals as well.
If you have other suggestions or ideas for how we can help, email us at info@austinlifechurch.com

Online Giving
You can continue in worship through tithes and offerings by giving online to ALC. This is the time more than ever to remember that giving is for your benefit - as we intentionally choose to hold on loosely to our resources, we see time and time again that God is faithful and able to provide far better than we can on our own. We experience His power and authority in life, which increases our joy and love for Him!
