Hello Austin Life Church family and friends,

Unfortunately, due to inclement weather expected over the weekend, the Boy Scouts have decided to close and not allow access into their building on Saturday & Sunday. Looking at the forecast, there was a strong chance we were going to have to pivot anyway. This just makes that decision a little more easily settled. 

We prayed and discussed together what we should do for the weekend, and are confident before the Lord in where we landed. For us as a church, we don’t have offices, a building, or a studio, and thus producing an online service with such notice is nearly impossible. We also felt that if we were to try and force the issue, we would be doing so in order to put out a “product” and less about a heart of worship. We genuinely felt a peace from God saying, “Hey, it’s ok. Sometimes things happen that you can’t control.” 

With that said, while we won’t be producing an online service, and since we already have the Sunday morning time blocked off for worship, we do want to re-send you a couple of resources that you could use to help guide you in a time of personal / household communion with God. 

We’ve attached our solitude guide that is designed to help you slow down and connect with God, and Sam will send a Kid’s / Family resource that will give your family an option if you have younger kids at home. 

We are sad to not be able to gather with everyone and worship together. But grateful that this is (Lord please!) only a one-week hiatus. 

We love you all and are excited to gather back together next Sunday for worship. If you have any concerns or immediate needs, please reach out and let us know.
