Austin Life Church has committed to serving the orphan and the widow. One way we do this is by walking alongside foster families so that they can continue to say yes to kids from hard places. If you’re looking for a way to support these families, become a certified babysitter! Join us for a full-day certification training designed to equip you to offer safe, informed, and impactful care for foster, adoptive, and kinship families. Throughout the day, you’ll receive practical training in trauma-informed care, medication administration, and safe transportation practices. The afternoon session includes CPR and First Aid certification, so you’ll leave confident, prepared, and fully equipped to serve families in meaningful ways. We’ll start the morning with coffee and a light breakfast, and lunch is provided for all registered attendees. Childcare will be offered on-site for parents with little ones who are attending the training and pursuing certification.
