Prayer is communion with the Divine. It is both a surrender and seeking of His will, and also personal interaction with God. Prayer to the Christian life is as breathing is to the human life. It is essential. The spiritual life of a Christian will all but whither to nothing without regular communion with the source of life Himself. Where prayer is absent from a Christian, or from a church, communicates a sense of self-dependence and pride that we can handle things on our own. We need prayer - for God’s glory, and our good.

We do not want to be a church who talks about prayer, but then doesn’t prioritize prayer. If you are wondering what is one of the most important things you can do to glorify God, grow in your own faith, and participate in the changing of the world around you, we would say to pray. And then pray some more.

This is our monthly all church gathering, that will often include a meal (when safe to do so).

We cannot encourage you enough to make prayer a regular part of your life. Let’s pray - for God’s glory, and our good!
